Over the years I’ve adventured alone, and with friends or family. Each adventure has had its own special flavor, sweet with the joy of close companionship, or spicy with the razor edge of a solo experience.

I’ll be posting my recent adventures as they occur, high atop the Rocky Mountains, and deep in the canyons, or wide open desert spaces, of the Colorado Plateau. These trips spark my curiousity about our natural environment, the geology, vegetation and wildlife. When I’m looking carefully, they provide clues to the people who have passed through the areas before. These wild places provide opportunities for contemplation and inspiration for art.
